San Francisco’s Red Devil Lounge was hotter than ever last Saturday night. If you weren’t there you missed out on a wicked funky and fiery lake of music and BOOTY. Presented by the Funky Ones and Planet booty, the Funksgiving celebration opened up with Funky Ones flagship performers: i can dress myself. The energy they brought to the stage with their eclectic performance was both inspiring and infectious. Planet Booty closed the night helping us shake off the extra gravy and showing us how its done. They offered a fresh mix of saucy and swingin’ finally answering the question, “Who want’s more turkey?!” Carlo de la Sera is a freelance photographer associated with the Almost Realism Media group. Last night the Funky Ones and Planet Booty celebrated Funksgiving at the Red Devil Lounge.

This weekend a handful of Funky Ones assisted and attended The Artumnal Gathering, Burning Man’s fanciest party of the year presented by the Black Rock Arts Foundation. Many great connections were made and much rug was cut. 

Now we turn our attention to the next big Funky Ones event, Funksgiving, next Saturday at the Red Devil Lounge.

Last night a handful of Funky Ones attended the Tip Records Launch Party at Public Works featuring our friends EASYSTREET! They were hilarious, with on on stage head shaving and ample David Bowie channeling. Definitely a good match for a future i can dress myself show!

The roaming grannies of Treasure Island Music Festival were a huge success! Delighting and creeping out festival goers young and old, Elephant Bird Camp brought a unique and surreal little corner to an exceptional event!
