When Graham and I (Purpleganda) first articulated the philosophy of The Funky Ones we chose two specific guiding principles for our funky festivities: inclusion and attention to detail.

i can dress myself’s album release last week was the perfect manifestation of this mission. Together with all of our beautiful, loving and talented friends we threw the most epic gala where everyone simply delighted each other.

I would like to thank some of the people who created this summit event but most of all I would like to thank the glamourous Emily Squirmbot Thundermouse Haltom for crafting a truly unforgettable affair. Brava my dear!

Thank you to Dex Stakker andNeonbunny Lapine for the triumphant dance floor.

Thank you Bené Rather-Taylor, Becky Neil and Jonathan Chan our brilliant I Can Dance Commanders.

This Saturday is the first major fundraiser for the enchanting playa project Bottlecap Gazebo. So many folks have been involved in this project already, it’s sure to be a huge success! In addition to fine food and excellent company, I am happy to officially announce a special performance at the event.

At sunset Sonya Harway, David Colón, Om Re and myself will be previewing our new musical project THE ADVENTURE OF COCA KOALA. This is a once off beta release before we return to our charming rehearsal space to fine tune our lush daydreams. Please join us as we lend our voices to the Bottlecap Gazebo Benefit BBQ this Saturday at Jonny’s place in Oakland.

And as music director for the former Bunny Jam parties, NeonBunny formed his connections with the creative, art, and Burning Man communities, while learning to add humor and creativity to his dj sets.

Saturday, March 3rd, i can dress myself is playing Burnal Equinox. This is our favorite Burning Man Party in San Francisco and this is the third year we have been invited to perform! This year the event will be held at Public Works and we are delighted to be playing the main stage at 1:30am.
